Frequently Asked Questions

What are the minimum order quantities?

We can do super-small vinyl runs (as low as 5 discs) via short-run methods. Just note the cost per unit is much higher. For the best value, most projects start at 100–500+.

How long does it take?

Most projects land in 4–12 weeks depending on format and finishes. (Smaller CD/cassette runs often 4–8 weeks; full vinyl runs typically 8–12 weeks. Peak seasons can add time—we'll give you a clear date in your quote.)

Do I need test pressings?

For orders 100+, we include vinyl test pressings and a small test/overrun buffer on physical items. If something's off, we fix it before the full run.

What master formats do you accept?

Give us your lossless master and we'll take it from there. (Please no MP3s—for the love of music.)

How much music fits without hurting sound?

It depends on format: 12" vinyl (33⅓ rpm): sweet spot 14–18 min/side (up to ~20–22 with some loudness trade-offs). CD: up to 74–80 minutes total (length doesn't reduce quality—just attention spans). Cassette: think in sides (e.g., C30 ≈ 15 min/side, C60 ≈ 30 min/side). Shorter sides = cleaner playback.

Do I need licenses for covers or samples?

Yes. You handle the rights; we'll point you to the right steps if you need help.

Can you help with barcodes/ISRCs and distribution?

Absolutely. We can sort UPCs, guide ISRCs, and discuss distribution options with you.
